Basic Ingredients you need to  cook Baby corn:

  • In the beginning, you are to bring 10-12 baby corn cobs, as it is the main ingredient mentioned in the recipe.
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter will be added to give it a juicy flavour.
  • After that Add 2 cloves of finely minced garlic to make it more flavoury.
  • Salt and pepper is the important ingredient in every recipe. It adds more taste to the food.
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro chopped is the ingredient used for garnishing.

The Step-by-step Instructions for Cooking Baby Corn:

Step- 1 Preheat your sous vide water bath to 183°F (84°C).

Step- 2 Rinse the baby corn cobs under cold water to remove any dirt or debris. Trim the ends if desired.

Step- 3 Place the baby corn cobs, butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a vacuum-sealable bag or a ziplock bag.

Step- 4 Seal the bag using a vacuum sealer or manually using the water displacement method to remove the air from the bag.

Step- 5 Once the water bath has reached the desired temperature of 183°F (84°C), carefully submerge the bag of baby corn into the water bath, ensuring it is fully submerged.

Step-6 Cook the baby corn sous vide for 1 hour.

Step-7 After the cooking time has elapsed, carefully remove the bag from the water bath and open it.

Step- 8 Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove the baby corn cobs from the bag and place them on the hot skillet. Reserve the cooking liquid.

Step- 9 Sear the baby corn cobs for about 1-2 minutes on each side until they develop a nice golden brown colour.

Step- 10 While searing, you can brush the baby corn cobs with some of the reserved cooking liquid to add flavour and moisture.

Step- 11 Once the baby corn cobs are nicely seared, remove them from the skillet and transfer them to a serving platter.

Step- 12 Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or cilantro.

Step- 13 Serve the sous vide baby corn as a side dish or use them in salads, stir-fries, or other recipes of your choice.
